Airport information
The Kansai international airport is built on an artificial island and can be accessed through a toll bridge which eventually goes on to connect to an express highway. The Kansai international airport has 1 terminal. Car parking area has been well thought off and there are plenty of options to choose from. Besides open parking lots there are two multi storied car parking facility available for use at the airport. Specially allotted areas meant for disabled travelers are reserved in the multi storeyed car park to provide them with ease and comfort. Several options are available to help you connect from the airport to the nearby destinations. Serving the Kansai international airport is the dedicated service of the Japanese Railways. The destinations of Kyoto and Kyobashi become accessible by availing the services of the Japanese railways from the Kansai International airport. Also connecting the airport are several bus services which connect the airport with major hotels and neighboring towns surrounding the airport. The busses start from a point outside the arrival hall of the airport and the tickets for the bus can be purchased from a counter situated outside the exit of the arrival. Besides rail and busses there are taxi stands situated at designated spots near the arrival hall of the airport from where the passengers can be ferried to their desired destinations. Car rental services too are available at the Kansai international airport which helps in easing the travelling process for the travelers.
Information Desk
Located at the airport are a total of 6 information desks. Two of these information kiosks are situated on the first floor while one is set up on the second floor. The fourth floor of the terminal has the remaining three information centers set up which aid and assists the travelers to clear their doubts and answers their enquiries. The second floor houses the main information help desk which manages all the other help desks. Also present on the first floor is the Kansai Tourist information center.
Facilities at the airport
Banking facilities, currency exchange kiosks, ATM machines and an in house post office take care of most of the monetary and communication needs of the travelers using the Kansai international airport. Aiding the communication services is the presence of free wireless internet connectivity throughout the airport and the presence of pre defined and designated internet kiosks at various points in the airport. These internet points can be used by the passengers to plug in their laptops and thereby access the internet at the airport. Eating and drinking facilities at the airport are very well taken care of by means of several restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Other well used facilities at the airport notably include the presence of gift shops, duty free shops, showers, luggage lockers, medical clinic, a dentist’s chamber, children’s room, nurseries, showers and mobile phone charging machines. Also present on the fourth floor is a business and a conference room well equipped with all the latest and modern modes of communication aiding the businessmen. Hotel Nikko Kansai located on site too is capable enough to take care of almost all needs of the travelling business fraternity.

There is the presence of Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport on the airport island itself which is linked to the terminal building for easy access. The other hotels located near to the airport terminal include Ana gate Tower Hotel and Ramada Kansai Airport Hotel. Rooms for these hotels can be booked in Arrivals on the first floor of the terminal itself.
