My Travel Experience and Few Tips

Recently I have gone on a vacation to Malaysia and Singapore. I would like to share few things with you guys. These are just few tips and points which I would like everyone should keep in mind. I will be posting my travel experience and complete story of my honeymoon trip in next few days.
How to claim lost baggage – Some times it might happen that your luggage may not arrive along with you on your flight. No need to panic. You just need to fill up a Property Irregularity report known as PIR also. It contains the brief description about the baggage, details of the contents and your communication where the lost baggage has to be delivered. However, if you still do not receive your baggage then lodge a claim with the respective airline in stipulated time which is normally 21 days.
Free extended vacation – Some times during festival season or peak seasons, overbooking is a usual problem. If you are holding a ticket for a busy period and do not have an emergency for travel, you can talk to airlines and leave your ticket for some one else and board the next possible flight. You must be thinking that why you should do this? Airlines will provide you for a free hotel stay and other amenities, so you will actually end up enjoying extended holiday and that too free.
When you are traveling with kids – Traveling with your kids can be quite demanding at times especially when flying. What we suggest is that give your kid some things interesting which keeps him/her busy. And these some things have to be a surprise. Your kid should see this as unexpected so that s/he gets busy with this. You can carry with you some comics, children magazines, travel puzzles, jigsaws, drawing books, coloring books, etc. However, one of the most effective alternatives would be video games on the laptops.
Extra set of clothing – A light set of clothing can be very useful in times of emergency which may arise out of certain of falling some liquid substance or some food droppings. Because if your clothes get wet you might feel yuck but if you change immediately then you will feel comfortable. However make sure that this extra set of clothing should not be bloating your luggage.
Some of the must travel tools: You must carry some of the items which can be very useful in any situation and any place while holidaying. Following is the list of such items. Hope you will it handy.
- Small torch light: You never know the power arrangements at the place where you are going and you may get stuck at some place where it is difficult to see. In this situation a small torch or a flash light would come in handy.
- Lock: Although most of the hotels world wide now offers the personal safe deposit boxes in the room however, you can not put your suitcase or bigger luggage into the same. So a small lock will always keep you away from tension about your luggage when you are enjoying the pool.
- Small knife: A small knife can be a handy tool for all kind of emergencies. Whether you want to open a Cola bottle, lemon cutting, paper cutting, pouch cutting etc.
