This ski resort destination has a beautiful locations and when viewed from a distance the town seems to melt into the slopes surrounding it as here seems to be no clear distinctions as to where the mountains end and the town begins. Getting there

Denver and Eagle are the two nearest destinations to Vail which are accessible through airplanes and then from there a drive towards Vail is possible. At a distance of approximately 15 miles the airport at Eagle is the nearest to Vail.

Activities beyond the slopes

Situated on the top of a mountain is the fun zone of Adventure Ridge which provides the guests to try out their skills at snow shoeing, skating, riding a snow mobile and ski biking. This adventure ridge has its own dining area to cater to the hunger pangs which are bound to erupt after the amazing rides and trips here.

Nightlife and food

The entertainment scene is Vail is lively and fun filled. With numerous options in the form of bars and pubs giving out drinks and laying lively music and the occasional piano there is always a place open to enable you to get a feel of the mountain life and the spirit of gaiety and exuberance. The dining options present in this ski resort town are plenty and simply endless. Worth trying out though include the Wildflower lodge, La Tour for its fantastic French delicacies and of course the Bully ranch to experience mountain food at its best.
