Airport information
The Zurich airport is comfortably placed in the midst of Switzerland’s road network and is very conveniently connected with all the other major cities situated near to Zurich. The Zurich international airport has 1 terminal and a shuttle bus connects the terminal with the Gate E. Zurich International airport has 3 covered parking and one open parking space. The open parking space is a little remote in placement and is meant for long term parking purposes. Bus services are present linking the long term parking lot with the main terminal. Valet parking service is also available at the Zurich international airport. Located under terminal B of the airport is a Swiss federation railway station. Regular trains run from this railway station connecting the airport to central areas of Zurich and several other cities located nearby along with major tourist destinations. Bus services can be sought from the bus terminal which is situated near car park 2. These bus services connect the airport with nearby towns and suburbs. Local taxi services can be availed from outside the terminals. Rental car services are also available very easily at the Zurich international airport. Help desks of the respective car renting agencies are set up at the arrival hall of the airport.

Also available are 9 FAST point terminals which have the capability to provide users with telephone, fax and photocopying facility. Wireless internet too can be accessed from pre-designated locations which are present throughout the airport. Eating options too are present in plenty at the Zurich international airport in the forms of several café’s restaurants and fast food joints. These places are capable of serving food which is pleasing both to local as well as international palates. Gift shops, duty free shops and a shopping centre constitute the shopping options available for travelers to indulge in while they wait at the airport.
